Our first resident artists, Los Angeles based Michael Bizon and Christian Tedeschi, transformed Popps Emporium into an installation using only objects/debris found within the space.

September 2011 saw the first Popps Packing Pinewood Derby. We gave out 100 car kits to local artists to modify, and then had races and auctioned the cars off to raise funds to purchase Poppa Joe’s Guest House and Popps Emporium. Success!
